INTRODUCTION:
Movies... What are movies? As we
all know, some movies are based on a real life event and some are just a
picture of the script-writer, or the director’s creative thoughts and
imagination. However, regardless of what or where does a specific movie’s
stories are based from, it still has a big connection to a real life phenomenon
or even to real humans itself.
But wait, have you ever noticed a
BIG difference when it comes to a movie itself, and when it’s compared to a
real life phenomenon? Let me give you a hint. In a specific movie, entitled,
“Iron Giant” (though it wasn’t actually a survival movie) the iron giant can
actually jump into the water, considering that it is a robot. Which is, in
reality, cannot get too much exposure from water, for it is being manipulated
or controlled through electricity. And by doing so, it may be destroyed or
malfunction. This is just an example though, but my point is, in real life, we
can actually see real life robot! But the fact is it can never have taken a
bath, nor have a feeling which Iron Giant had in the movie. Meaning, it is
somewhat realistic in a little point, but in behalf of it, it is already a pure
fiction.
This thing happens in most of our
films/movies nowadays. And in this article, I will be giving some examples of
movies which, I found, quite unrealistic though it uses some parts of it which
happens to exist in real life. But to be specific, I’ll be choosing the movie
genre, “Survival/Thriller”. Because in such genre, almost everything in it is
quite realistic, and if the viewers would be asked after watching such shows,
most of them may not probably see some unrealistic stuff in it. Well, to make
things clear, I’m talking about pure Suspense Movie here, not those which have
a touch of science fictions or horror in it.
Oh, by the way, there are 3 types
of movies as an anonymous author says,
·
TheTRUE-TO-LIFE STORY RENDERED AS MOVIES
·
TRUE TO LIFE
·
PLAIN MOVIE.
The following will be discussed as we go through the
next blogs, per article.
The entire blog was made, most
especially for the readers, of course. But specifically, it is intended most
for future researchers, movie enthusiasts, and of course, for all sorts of
human being, since I know, everyone who watches movies, regardless if they’re
an avid fan of any kinds of movies or not, I know they can relate to this
topic.
The
entire content of the blog/s I am going to make is not entirely mine. Some part
of it will be derived from a source to support my ideas, but the majority of
the remains will mostly be composed of my own ideas and opinions regarding the
topic. The ideas of the source will later be accredited anyway, as I will quote
their names along with the ideas I got from them. This is to prevent
plagiarism, and also, to provide the readers an accurate information regarding
my blog.
